What's Next?

Went to Plaza Singapura today. Next, we went to catch Next which is next after the buying of Nachos with extra cheese. So coming next, is the Arian movie review of... Next.

Arian Movie Review #5 - Next

Movie Title: Next

Rating/Category: PG/

Plot: Cris Johnson (Nicholas Cage) is a magician, and you pretty much can guess it, earns MOST of his money by *ahem* playing in a casino and the ability to win everytime? A clairvoyant who can see 2 minutes in the future.

Then the "Romeo" meets his "Juliet" and in a special twist, Juliet can interestingly help him see beyond 2 minutes because of the ever-clichéd thing called destiny. Because of an incident that happened in the casino, the FBI wants to get Cris Johnson to help them nab a bunch of terrorist who has nothing better to do but detonate a stolen nuclear weapon.

Review: This movie is really interesting. I've always like scripts with this kind of paranormal setting because we see normal stuff like everyday in our life. Why pay another 10 bucks to watch something that is going to happen to you everyday? Think along the lines of family drama and documentary movies. Anyways, this movie, although is an action-adventure, packs LOADS OF LAUGHTERS because Nicholas Cage acted so goddamn good. His cockiness, with suave and smooth bullet-dodging and those pretty little magic tricks (he's a magician) really makes you want to have the ability SO MUCH that you would drool everytime he executes certain things like avoiding multiple punches without even looking!

And because of his power, he is virtually INVINCIBLE because he knows his opponents movements even before they are executed. It's like a LEGAL GOD-MODE HACK. How cool is that! Also, the female lead actor was pretty hot looking, which added lots of juicy bits to the movie. (LOOK OUT FOR THE BED SCENE LOL)

If not for the abrupt and albeit lame ending, I would have given it 5 stars because this is really a good movie not to be missed. Even so, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND you to catch it because, well, you never know what's next.

(Look out when the credits roll, they are kinda abnormal!)
