I've been going for this Laser sessions on my face for quite a while now. After wasting like $1k on Maple Clinic, I've decided to just go for it. It's for my acne scars, and boy, do they suck! And the lasers are not cheap, they suck me dry in the bank account; a whopping $300/session! But oh well, I want a pretty face, and besides, each session entitles me to a week of MC! And yeah, I've been a couch potato for the past 3 days rotting at home because I did my laser on Monday.

So what did I do for this 1 week? I've decided to chiong finish all the TV serial dramas that I've missed out while serving dear army. I finished Flash Forward up till episode 10, and GLEE! - My favourite TV drama for this year. The plot is just so random and it just makes you burst out laughing in the middle of the show. Even if you're a stone-faced, laugh-and-I-will-die, and you get the "WHY SO SERIOUS?" question everytime, you will still bob your head to the jingles they deliver in the show. My favourite thus far? It's My Life/Confessions Part II mash up! It's totally awesome! Take a listen..



AWESOME ain't it? Anyways, the other TV drama that I was catching up was Lost. After totally losing track of it halfway through season 2, and finding out that the season FINALE will be on May 23 2010, I just gotta watch it. I'm one of those guys that totally HATES spoilers. You know when J.K released Harry Potty last book, I woke up like 8am in the morning and waited outside CompassPoint's Popular just so I get to read it First-Hand, Spoiler-FREE! I HATE people spoiling endings for me, it's just a sucky feeling. I would go bonkers and kill the f***** who spoils anything for me.


So yeah, I'm rushing through Season 1 to 5 and hopefully, I can finish watching them by the end of May so that no one spoils the ending of the greatest TV drama of all time. Now let me get LOST.

Oh wow! The weekend whizzed past just like that! You know how the lyrics of "I Gotta Feeling" go "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Saturday and Sunday.."

NO, YOU MOUNTAIN TORTOISE! THAT'S HOW THE LYRICS WENT! 2 Saturdays in a week! How awesome would that be huh? Anyways, I got a dental consultation tomorrow for a chipped tooth inside my mouth, which was like a month ago. I'm getting the jitters, because I HATE DENTISTS. Especially the drilling gadget they have inside their claustrophobic room. If you're wondering which one I'm talking about, it looks like this..



SHYYT this brings out the pee in me. I wiki-ed it and it's called a Dental Drill and this mean little thing is what makes people like me fear dental. ARRGGH. Hopefully all this dental thing will be over and done with presto!

WHOOO! After a 3 years hiatus, I've decided to start blogging again. Why?

Because today I've got alot of things on my mind and I just want to write it down...



Yeah. That's the reason.

The thing that bogged down my mind so much, not surprisingly, is the topic about money. You know, there are some people who say "OH, money ain't the most important thing man!" And today, I'll show these naysayers how money, is the single thing in life that changes everything.

Ok, give me 2 random guys!

Bling Bling & Ling Ling aka. $00 (GET IT?)
















OK! Now, Bling Bling was born into a rich family. Naturally, at a young age, his parents would send him to all kinds of classes : Piano classes, cooking class, dancing class etc. He gets the BEST tuition classes and thus, he was confident that he would score well for his exams. So confident that he DID NOT study for them, but because of all the BEST tuition classes, he scored B+, a grade good enough to let him go to a tertiary school of his choice.

Ling Ling, conversely, was born into a poor family. After school, he comes home and help out with housework, then play with the 35987345 years old Transformer toy his great grand father gave to his father, which then his father passed it down to him. He is too poor to buy assessment book or 10 year series, but because he reads his textbook as a hobby, he gets a B+ for his O levels as well.

They both decided to go to a polytechnic, because let's face it, JCs are boring as hell.

Up till this point, the effect of money still does not have a great impact on their lives.. at least until now.

Bling Bling, because of his talents, was discovered by talent scouts and he part-timed as an actor in the local TV while still pursuing his diploma. Because of his immense amount of money, he could afford the best skincare products, best gym memberships and eats the best stuff. He is talented AND handsome. And because of his work commitments, he sometimes miss out on project meetings. But because he's famous, cute and loaded, his project mates WILLINGLY allow him to be a freeloader. At the end of his polytechnic life, he has lots of friends and he was invited to give a speech to the school during the graduation ceremony. He threw the most lavish party that day and everyone was impressed with Bling Bling.

Ling Ling went to the same polytechnic as Bling Bling. However, Ling Ling, on the other hand, had to work for his pocket money while pursuing his diploma. He falls asleep during tutorials, skips some of the lecture and miss out on some of the project meetings as well due to his conflicting work schedule. Ling Ling, being the poor guy, had no money to pamper himself with skincare products or go to the gym to work out. His face is full of pimples, he's skinny and his clothes were the same for the 3 years he was in polytechnic. Because of his looks, his project mates mark him down during peer appraisals because he misses out on project meetings. At the end of his polytechnic life, no one wanted to do projects with him, he did not go to the graduation ceremony because he had to work and he had little friends. No one remembered Ling Ling after he graduated, or rather, no one wanted to remember him.

Since Bling Bling and Ling Ling are Singaporean guys, they went to the NS shortly after their graduation..

Bling Bling, being famous and all, was quickly singled out by his sergeants during his BMT. The sergeants "tekkan" him whenever he did wrong, in front of the whole company. Thus, within a week, everyone knew who he was and started making friends with him. On the few rare occasions they have a night's out, Bling Bling would treat his platoon sergeants and mates for dinner. Because he had previously worked out at gyms, he aced his IPPT and SOC. The OC was impressed by the results and granted the whole platoon a few days off. Then, during one of their night's out, he met a girl he liked and soon after, they started dating each other. Bling Bling looked forward to every book out day because that's when he will see his GF. After POP, he was posted to become a commander because he was thought to have the "ability to lead", although in actual fact, he simply has the charisma because he was well-liked by his sergeants and platoon mates.

Ling Ling, on the other hand, was posted to be in the same company, but different platoon as Bling Bling. Ling Ling, with no prior workout, and due to him working everyday, he was weak in terms of physical fitness. His sergeants hated him because they had to stay up late at night to give him extra physical training. And because he is always the last one to go to bed, he often wakes up late in the morning and the whole platoon will get punished because of him. Everyone hated him. Although that is the case, Ling Ling does not like book out days because that will mean he would have to pay for his own meals during the weekends. He was poor, he was hated, and eventually during his POP, he was posted to become a man.

See how all these are leading? I would continue both their life stories, but I would save it for another time when I'm thinking about money again. The ending of the story is clear though - Bling Bling's life will be much better than Ling Ling's, because Bling Bling is filthy rich.

WHOOOHOOOO! Today was my last presentation and that signals the end of the semester. 2 more weeks and I'll be PARTYING PRACTICALLY EVERYDAY until my internship! And I'm like high today can, because we got back one of the reports we did and guess what?

A WHAO-LOOKING A+! Yes A+ not A or A- but A+! Never in my poly life I got an A+ for my projects! WHOOOOHOOOOO!

Ahhh! Went to watch Secret by Jay Chou today! The movie is UNEXPECTEDLY VERY NICE lar! The whole cinema was packed and during the last scene, every went like:"OWWWW~~!" because well, it's really nice, just go catch it. Here's the review of 2 of the NICEST movies this month, and you better get that $20 out and catch this 2 movies.




Rating/Category: PG/ (If this scares you, it means HORROR)

Plot: Pim, went to live in Korea to bury her past. Then one day, her "psychic" friend told her that something is coming back for something that she took away. Then, her mum was ill and she had to rush back to Thailand. Things started to get strange and had all the memories, flashbacks and hauntings of her past overwhelming her she is almost on the verge on breakdown. Then, she discovered, that her "bonded" sister that died due the the separating surgery is coming back for her... but WHY?

Review: Well, this is the movie director of the VERY SCARY Shutter, which I watched, and full of expectations, I went in for a hair-raising experience and true enough, I was not disappointed. Notice how almost all horror flicks seem to not make sense in their plots? Well, this horror movie not only scares the shit out of you when you don't expect it at all, the story plot is SOLID and has a very nice twist in the end. The "ghost" scares you in new ways, like hanging on the ceiling fan turning around and stuff. And the story gets darker and deeper and the intensity builds up THROUGHOUT the movie. OMG. Better catch this, before seventh month approaches and you would be too scared to sleep at night.

LOLLLL OMG it's already August. That's like a month long of hiatus! I MISS BLOGGING RANDOM CRAP. Being a 3rd year student in Poly is so tedious. I'm finally left with 2 more presentations to go and I'm DONE.... for the first semester. Well, just in case you were wondering:"Projects so hard meh?" Here's one of my group project brochure that I DESIGNED TOTALLY BY MYSELF.


Annd that's about it I will ramble about for today. 2 more presentations to go, and I'm going to be FREE FOR ONE WEEK before I start studying for exams. Bah.
